This is the first of my 2009 edition of faceless angels. My angels celebrate those who have profound influence on our day to day lives. Most often they go unnoticed as they move in and out of our community of friends, family and strangers.

I will be offering Faceless Angel ornaments this year. Look for them in the next week or two.

Boy! Who knew snapdragons would be so tricky? I admit I struggled a little with this but all came out well in the end. It is nice to be playing with impressionism again. I have just finished an abstract marathon for my show at the University of South Alabama. It opened September first and will be on display through the end of October. I have started painting this years angels and will be posting samples and ordering information soon. I found out this morning a local artist is copying my faceless angels.What a great complement!
