The show at Taste was a great success, We had a nice size crowd in spite of the cold. I sold quite a few paintings and I think Jim and Sune' had a few sales too. A couple of artists didn't show. I don't know what their reason was, but I hope it was good. The Mobile art sceen is too finicky to risk damaging your own rep.

I did a series of small guardian angel paintings for Bucks. The Choir was the last one I painted and didn't finish in time to make it for the show.

I am off to collect painting money, which I will quickly deliver to Toys R Us....T

I went in Hobby Lobby the other day. They have all of their Christmas decorations out. They are on the isle next to Thanksgiving which is next to the Halloween stuff. Marketing really works on people like me. I bought a scarecrow, a turkey, and an angel ornament. I plan to do more of these abstract angels. Hope you like them...T

Today Lydia and I painted at the Five Rivers Center, where the Mobile, Spanish, Tensaw, Apalachee and Blakeley rivers flow into Mobile Bay. It really is a nice facility. You should check it out.

I have a giant popcorn (Tallow) tree in my back yard. It is probably one of the only trees in Mobile that changes color with the seasons. It is just beginning to get a little yellow.
