A little plein Aire piece today. I had forgotten how much fun it is to paint outdoors. Today is a rare day in Mobile. The sky is so blue when the humidity is low. I call this Langan Park One because I hope to do more En plein aire pieces. Lydia painted with me today be sure to look at her blog.

As Ike sped towards Texas he churned up these beautiful shells in Alabama. I grabbed these treasures from the beach Wednesday evening. We ran for higher ground around 3:00 Thursday morning

This is the third version of this composition. The first was a beautiful black and white photo that I shot when this little girl was six days old. ( that was three years ago)

Those are my husbands hands and the baby is his granddaughter.

I am not old enough for a granddaughter.

I don't usually Blog On Sunday's , but an article was published today in my local paper. My sister in law Lydia and I were featured along with a couple of other local artists. I thought since people around town were going to be reading about me today I would give them something special.
